Steven L. Biegel, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Biegel is widely known in the Washington, DC architectural community for his leadership abilities, new business development and project management skills. He has extensive expertise in large-scale design and project management. He is the author of a book entitled Profit by Design. He also authored a portion of the Encyclopedia of Architecture, Design & Construction, entitled, "Roofing and Roofing Systems," published by McGraw-Hill. Mr. Biegel earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and furthered his studies at the University of Virginia, Catholic University, and George Washington University.

 

Philip R. Croessmann, AIA, Esq.

Mr. Croessmann has represented numerous architectural and engineering firms, environmental consultants and contractors in both simple and complex litigation as a lawyer. He is a licensed architect and a member of the Bar in Virginia, the District of Columbia, New York and Washington State. Mr. Croessmann received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University.

 

Raymond A. Ferrari, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Ferrari possess over 28 years of in-depth experience providing architectural services to a wide variety of clients. For 18 years, he has focused on the Washington, DC market and he has substantial expertise in the commercial and federal government sectors. He has managed over three million SF of complex design-build projects, and more than three million SF of condition surveys and assessments. Mr. Ferrari received his Master of Architecture from the University of Utah, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

 

Nena P. Martin, IIDA , NCIDQ

Nena Martin is responsible for the management and design of commercial interior projects and schools in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. She handles multiple design projects and directs a design studio that comprises space planners, programmers and interior architects. Ms. Martin is also actively involved with the business development of the firm and participates in real estate networks such as CREW, CORENET and NAIOP. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

 

John Dreiling, AIA, LEED AP

John Dreiling earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 1980. Prior to joining Matrix Settles, he was a Project Manager for multiple projects at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. He has managed the design of a wide variety of building types including educational and religious facilities, retirement communities, parking structures and single family residential homes.

 

Jennifer L. Cascone

Jennifer Cascone has several years of diverse marketing experience in the A/E/C industry. She is responsible for overseeing Matrix Settles' Marketing and Business Development nationwide. Ms. Cascone has been an active member of many successful business development teams. Since 2003, she has been involved with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and serves on their Executive Committee. She is also active in DCBIA and CREW Northern Virginia.

 

Cezar Gomez, INTL, AIA

Cezar Gomez has spent the past 29 years in the architectural/Interior design industry. His extensive experience in hotel and restaurant design afforded him the opportunity to travel throughout Asia, South America and Europe before settling in the DC metropolitan area.

Prior to assisting in the management of the Matrix Settles - U.S. Customs and Border Protection team, Cezar worked as a Design manager for Marriott Hotel International and established his own firm, CNG Design, which specialized in residential design and renovation.
